Previously, she was a member of the corporate influence team, where she wrote about how big technology companies were grappling with a wave of regulations, lawsuits, and negative publicity over their business practices. She regularly discusses her reporting on television, radio, and at conferences. Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2017, Nix was a senior education reporter at The 74, a nonprofit education news outlet. Earlier in her career, she covered city hall and education for The Star-Ledger (Newark, NJ) and was a general assignment reporter for the Chicago Tribune.
Her work has also appeared in The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Atlantic, and Princeton Alumni Weekly. Naomi graduated from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a certificate in African American studies.
